Once I decided to sell my art, I had to figure out where and how. After much research, I settled on selling my art with Fine Art America or FAA. I do call myself a Fine Art America Artists and share my FAA website anywhere I can. Seeing my artwork in a store is thrilling, now that I’ve sold a fine number of things, I feel even more confident. FAA has been a godsend when it comes to ease of use. They not only create my prints, bill my customers and mail their artwork, they help me with my taxes and give me lots of ways to share my artwork. The built-in community is priceless, there are thousands of artists at FAA who support one another and do a great deal to get my art seen by others. For every single community member who likes, favorites or shares my work, there are about 100 others who are exposed to it. There are groups, contests and incentives like discounts on prints. The choice to use FAA as my digital art and graphic design print store was a good one.

Graphic design and digital art go hand in hand. I find that I use one set of skills when working with the other. My graphic design work is usually created for my website customers. I work with Netometry Web Design making logos, web art and such. They keep me busy. My digital art is a free-style format, I let go where it wants. Graphic design is more about beginning with an end result in mind. I enjoy the artistic side of graphic design, where I get to consider the intellectual flow of the viewer. To promote a behavior or a call to action with a picture is remarkable. It keeps things interesting. My digital art is full of meanings that I assume are only seen my me but graphic art should be obvious in its claim and offer a clear message. I enjoy making both digital art and graphic design.
