This artist impressionism period is going to last a long time. I believe it will outlast any other style of art I create with digital software. When I paint with acrylics on canvas I tend to end up with this same impressionistic look and deep rich colors. I totally dig having paint under my fingernails but I have to admit, creating a digital representation is much more appealing to me and my artist bones.

I have mastered digital pathways and created lovely scripts that express my particular touch just as much as my brush on canvas. When I chose the url fine-digital-art.com, those words were never used as a legitimate phrase. Digital art was not considered fine art. Things have changed. I find my defining phrase accompanied by many others who proudly claim it as their purpose. Wonderful! I can’t wait to see what they create next.

Impressionism can be considered to be the first distinctly Modern movement in painting. Developing in Paris in the 1860s –theartstory.org

With the understanding that impressionism was an art movement that had a beginning, middle and end, we find it still thriving today. THE ART STORY goes on to say, Impressionists aimed to capture the momentary, sensory effect of a scene – the impression objects made on the eye in a fleeting instant. Some of us are in love with this concept and live by it daily.
