Art
Art! I make all types of art. My favorite way to make art is with digital software. I work with overlays, digital paint and lots of great photo editor tools. I have a long history with art, from drawing to painting to sculpting to digital art I have always been creating. I love to make digital art, it is the most versatile way I’ve found to express my ideas.
There are five main types of art profiled in the Fine Digital Art website. Abstract Art, Impressionism and Landscape Art, Portrait Art, City Art and Layer Art. I put together 12+ galleries of art for you to browse through and a Fine Art America store where my art prints are available for sale. All art in the Fine Digital Art website is created by artist Mary Clanahan unless otherwise specified.

Layer Art
About the Layer Art Project.. Layer art is fun to make and I wanted to experiment to see what I could do with the software that makes it, see if it fits in with my usual editor’s line-up. So far, it’s nice but lacks many of the primary editing tools I’ve come to rely on. There are some great qualities, like the layer art effects. I haven’t seen the pathways it takes to create this kind of art before. I appreciate the ease of use and would consider buying this software. This series will be available for sale as prints on canvas, archival paper, acrylic, metal and more. Visit Fine Art America store for more about prices and options.
City Art
I began the city art series Dec of 2013. It started with some artwork I made for a city garden project. I liked the look of them and the way they made me feel while making them so much, I kept going. I have quite a few city art pieces now and feel confident enough in them to add them to my Fine Art America store as city art prints for sale.
Portrait Art
Portrait Art series began in early 2014. I create these with computer software, using digital painting techniques and overlays. Making portrait art is what I love most about being an artist. Visit my Portrait Art Gallery to see my work.
